Cookie Policy

OKQ Solutions AB uses strictly necessary cookies, consent-based functional cookies, and limited transaction-security cookies.

Summary: Sign-in, session security, fraud prevention, payment security, and preferences with your consent. No advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files or similar technologies, including local storage and comparable device-based identifiers, stored on your device when you interact with the Services. They allow the platform to recognise your session, remember preferences, and secure transactions.

2. Our approach

OKQ Solutions AB uses a minimal set of cookies. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site behavioural tracking technologies.

  • Strictly necessary cookies, which do not require consent.
  • Functional cookies, which require your prior consent and can be managed through our cookie controls.
  • A limited set of third-party cookies set by our payment provider for fraud prevention and transaction security.

3. Categories we use

  • Strictly necessary cookies support sign-in, session management, and storing cookie choices. The Services cannot function without them.
  • Functional cookies remember preferences such as language or theme. They require prior opt-in consent and can be withdrawn at any time.
  • Payment and fraud-prevention cookies may be set by our payment provider to detect fraud and secure checkout transactions.

4. Legal basis

Strictly necessary cookies do not require prior consent under the ePrivacy Directive or applicable national cookie laws because the Services cannot be delivered without them.

Functional and payment-provider fraud-prevention cookies are set only after consent, except where a specific cookie is demonstrably essential to complete a requested transaction. Each payment cookie is assessed individually rather than assumed exempt as a category.

5. Your controls

You can manage available cookie preferences through the controls presented by the Services and may disable or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may impair sign-in, payment processing, or other essential functions.

6. Retention

  • Session cookies are deleted when the browser session ends.
  • Functional preference cookies are retained for up to twelve (12) months, or until you withdraw consent.
  • Payment and fraud-prevention cookies are retained only for the period established by the applicable payment provider to complete and secure the transaction.

7. Third parties

Payment-processing and fraud-prevention cookies may be set by the payment provider used for a transaction. Each cookie is assessed to determine whether it is strictly necessary or requires consent. Details are available on request.

No third-party advertising, analytics profiling, or cross-context behavioural tracking cookies are used.

8. Your rights

For questions or to exercise your data protection rights, contact support@okqsolutions.com. If you are in California or another U.S. state with applicable privacy law, our Privacy Policy explains your rights, including Global Privacy Control signals. OKQ Solutions AB does not sell or share cookie data as defined under those laws.
